When parents’ world falls apart, we help them build it again.
If, during an ultrasound examination or a consultation with a geneticist, you learn that your unborn child is seriously ill, help is available.
Our perinatal hospice provides you with medical and psychological support. We provide professional pregnancy care, obstetric and perinatal care, and ensure privacy and dignity during the birth of a seriously ill child. We work closely with the Princess Anna Mazowiecka Clinical Hospital, Bielański Hospital, and Żelazna Medical Center in Warsaw.
Pregnant women are provided with privacy and dignity. When a child is terminally ill, the mother and baby stay in an area separate from healthy newborns. Our psychologists are available to parents throughout pregnancy. Parents can also take advantage of our Parenting School whose program is tailored to their particular needs.
Our support does not end after the birth. If a newborn with a terminal illness is discharged home, the child may receive care from the Warsaw Hospice for Children. For families living in other parts of Poland, we will help them find the nearest home-based or inpatient hospice. If the child passes away, we offer support through our bereavement support groups or individual psychological support.
